Electronics Manufacturing & Testing Integration

In electronics manufacturing, each stage is essential to ensuring impeccable product quality and functionality. To avoid errors and guarantee that each product meets all requirements, we utilize advanced testing methods. Here’s how testing is integrated into the entire manufacturing process and why it’s so important for your products:

PCB Design and Prototyping

Every successful project starts with flawless design. At this stage, we create the heart of your product – the printed circuit board (PCB). But how do we ensure it functions perfectly?

Prototype testing:

We create and test the first PCB prototype to identify possible errors, from incorrect connections to missing components. This stage helps optimize the design before mass production begins, saving you time and costs.

PCB Manufacturing

After design approval, a flawlessly crafted PCB comes to life on our production line. Every millimeter is crucial – from conductors to holes for components.

Automated Optical Inspection (AOI):

We use advanced optical technology to ensure that every PCB is produced defect-free. Are there flaws, dirt, or errors? AOI will find them!

In-Circuit Testing (ICT):

We test every circuit to ensure all conductors are properly connected and functioning without interruption. No short circuits, no defects!

Installation Of Components

We install each component – from microchips to resistors – precisely where it needs to be. Whether we use SMD or THT technology, we ensure that each component is correctly installed.

AOI:

After assembly, we perform another optical check to ensure everything is in place with no mechanical defects or missing parts. Every component must be in its designated position.

ICT:

We test the electrical parameters of the components and verify that they are properly connected to the PCB. Assembly errors? Incorrect components? We detect them before moving on to the next stage!

Post-installation Testing

After all assembly work is completed, we conduct in-depth testing of the product’s operation to ensure everything functions as it should.

Flying Probe Testing:

This is a solution for small batches or prototypes. We use mobile probes to perform precise electrical connection tests without the need for fixed fixtures.

Functional Testing (FCT):

We conduct final testing to check that all components work together as one harmonious system. Only after ensuring that everything operates without errors do we proceed to final assembly.

Final Assembly and Functional Testing

Once all components are checked and assembled, we put together the final product. This process involves mounting the PCB into the casing along with all other essential elements – screens, connectors, batteries, and more.

Functional Testing (FCT):

This is the last and crucial step. We perform a final functionality test to ensure that the entire product operates flawlessly. This is the only way we can guarantee that your product is ready for the customer and will perform its functions without issues.

Final Quality Control

We don’t stop at final assembly – we double-check to ensure that your product meets the highest quality standards.

X-ray Inspection:

Used for the most complex products, where hidden issues may lie. X-ray technology allows us to examine even internal connections and assembly quality in multilayer PCBs.
